Rush Limbaugh forever changed talk radio. He was a consistent critic of Democrats but he also was not afraid to criticize weak and cowardly Republicans including its top leadership and most especially the always horrible RINO pols.
His voice and style was unique and his intellect was always sharp even as he became older and prone to various illnesses and ailments.
If it were not for Rush, the nation would be far more Liberal now and without a Conservative voice in Washington, D.C. He addressed difficult issues and told the truth that otherwise was covered-up by the mainstream media because of their Leftwing bias.
His sense of humor and sheer love for our nation and his tireless work ethic will not be forgotten.
That being said, it is a sad commentary on our culture that his enemies - especially among celebrities and journalists - are gloating over his death and making sarcastic jokes about Rush dying of cancer. Some of the comments on his Facebook page are evil and disgusting. To gloat over the death of a man just because he shared political views that differed from yours is classless. These lowlives act like they will never face death and the judgment seat of God. Many of these people are known to cover-up for perverts like Harvey Weinstein and child predators who rank among the most powerful and influential people in the entertainment business.
Rush was obviously a much needed thorn in their side.
All I know is when Rush made his final program in December he left by telling us how much he loves his fans and how much he loves the United States of America. That is the Rush Limbaugh I will always appreciate and remember.
