Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is outraged to learn that Bruce Springsteen was arrested three months ago for drunk and reckless driving. The fact that this arrest was not revealed by authorities in New Jersey until after Springsteen’s appearance driving a Jeep in a high-priced Super Bowl commercial is infuriating. Drunk driving is the number one killer on America’s roads. The 10,000 people killed and 300,000 people who are injured every year deserve better. Victims and families deserve for every drunk driving offense to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law as a violent, 100% preventable crime every time. No excuses, no exceptions.

The image Springsteen projected throughout his career does not reflect his reality. President Trump stood for America First and for restoring manufacturing WITHIN our borders and returning companies and jobs that were lost to other nations. President Trump’s GDP and his economic policies made records. He was all about fighting the Deep State and the big government bureaucracy that has caused so much misery for working class families and has caused damage to our way of life. He reversed Joe Biden’s 1994 Crime Bill with the First Step Act and he was ready to implement a new program for Blacks called the Platinum Plan to further help and protect the Black community, but that never happened because he was deprived a second term.
There is much more that Trump accomplished. He did much good in spite of constant attacks including threats of assassination and acts of “political violence”.
Springsteen, however, never backed Trump but purposely ignored Trump’s accomplishments and he never voiced support for all the good he did including the good deeds he accomplished for Blacks. He, instead, was a tool for disunity, hateful rhetoric, inflammatory language, unpatriotic sentiments, and a tendency to express points of view that may fit well in a socialist nation but not in the United States of America.
Springsteen has betrayed the very image he built throughout his career. One significant problem with him is he dissented from his Catholic Faith early in life. He obviously was not well-educated in Catholic philosophy and theology. His lack of sound cathechesis and a lack of familiarity with Scripture and Tradition as taught by the early Church Fathers and by the angelic Doctor of the Church, Saint Thomas Aquinas, led him to embrace heresies and false teachings that are divorced from Faith and Reason.
I hope he will change and work toward being a holy Catholic instead of selling out to the world and to ideologies that have nothing to do with the Social Reign of Christ the King and with America’s basic Christian principles.
