The phony and biased “fact-checkers” on Fakebook are working to cover-up any example of Democrats calling for or defending political violence during the past few years.
Trump’s call to “fight like hell” is cited in the recent and bogus article of “impeachment”, but it has been twisted and misinterpreted for dirty political reasons.
How is that one line an example of him encouraging his followers to commit violence? The line he used is common for Trump and for people in his urban culture. He has said it many times in the past even before he became President. That kind of talk is not uncommon language where he grew up and where he resided most of his life. It does not literally mean to “go out and hurt people and damage property!”
He called for his supporters to protest peacefully and patriotically, a fact missing from the article of impeachment. He told the rally, “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”
During the 2008 Election year, then Presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama called on his followers to confront Republicans when he said, “I want you to argue with them and get in their face.”
That statement by Obama could have been interpreted to mean physical as well as verbal violence. It could have disqualified him from the ticket if the Republicans and the media made it an issue. He should have stopped at “argue with them” but the “get in their face” part went too far and it is a reason why so many anti-Trump radicals often confront Trump supporters with violence (a person confronted me aggressively on my property last Fall because she was deeply offended over my re-elect Trump yard sign. She was seething with rage. I thought she was going to pull a gun and shoot me. It was a bizarre and scary encounter and one that I hope will never happen again).
Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Democrats in 2018 to violently confront Republicans with this statement:
“....Michelle always says, Michelle Obama, I love her. She and my wife are really tight. Which always scares me and Barack. Michelle always says, ‘When they go low, we go high.’ No. No. When they go low, we kick them...That’s what this New Democratic party is about. We are proud as hell...”
Holder later backpeddaled a little but his rhetoric could easily be understood to mean Democrats ought to confront Republicans violently and many Dems have confronted them violently including the guy who shot Rep. Steve Scalise and the Left-wing activists who assaulted and occasionally murdered Trump supporters in 2020.
If the Left is going to hold Trump accountable for a speech (a speech protected under the First Amendment) that was not meant to encourage his supporters to commit violence or anything else that is illegal but was used to inspire their right as voters to defend their basic rights and to fight injustices against them and against Trump then the Democrats should hold Obama and Holder and Pelosi and Waters and other Dems accountable for all the times they used inflammatory language!
They still have not penalized Pelosi for ripping apart Trump’s SOTU speech last year but instead awarded her another term as House Speaker! Her behavior was wrong and it was the kind of behavior that inspires people to disrespect and malign authority and to believe that acting in a classless and violent way is socially acceptable.
Imagine if Pelosi was President and Trump was House Speaker and he tore up her SOTU speech on television? The Democrats and even Republicans and the mainstream media would have been appalled and forced him to resign at least as House Speaker!
In 2018, House Speaker Pelosi made the following statement in reaction to a Trump policy:
“I just don’t even know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country. Maybe, there will be.”
What is an uprising? According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary an uprising is,
“An act or instance of rising up especially a usually localized act of popular violence in defiance usually of an established government.”
Pelosi, the highest ranking member of the House of Representatives, called for violence in response to a Trump policy and all the media did was give her a pass and now the Big Tech “fact-checkers” especially on Fakebook are working to put a positive spin on what she said in 2018. It is disgusting!!!
Bottom line? Trump did not encourage violence unlike the far-Left. He has always stood for law and order which is why it was him and not Biden who received endorsements from law enforcement throughout the nation.
It was anti-Trump activists like John Sullivan of Insurrection USA who led the rioting and the breach of the Capitol. Trump’s rallies have always been peaceful. It is the Left who have caused violent confrontations even when Trump was holding rallies as a Presidential candidate. They rioted the Capitol on his Inauguration Day and they rioted two months earlier in reaction to his victory on Election night.
And then there is the anti-American multi-billionaire George Soros who should have been thrown in prison a long time ago. He has empowered the political violence in our nation without being held accountable (‘George Soros is indeed an enabler of U.S. street violence,’
The problem right now with both parties is that the Democrats need to seriously reform their party and develop a sense of morality and the Republicans need to stop acting like sissies and stop surrendering and compromising the truth because they fear the media or fear losing their elite status in Washington, D.C.
