UPDATE:
As of this writing, no one, including Mr. Perkins, has been charged with a crime involving Miss Lester. Legally, every suspect or person of interest in every criminal case has a Constitutional right to be presumed innocent (even after they are charged with a crime) until they are proven guilty in a court of law before a jury of his or her peers (fellow citizens).
UPDATE:
It is disheartening and disgusting to see the comments by liberals on the Facebook pages of Rhode Island news organizations applauding the violent assault by Mark Perkins on Conservative talk radio personality John DePetro. They say Mr. DePetro instigated the assault by “harassing” Mr. Perkins but they obviously have not been following Mr. Depetro’s coverage of this case. Until the assault, he was the only local or national media personality who has consistently been covering the case. He calmly would ask Mr. Perkins the same questions which have not been answered, “Do you know what may have happened to Charlotte?” “Where is Charlotte?” and “Was she at your house the night of her disappearance?” When Mr. Perkins was released after his arraignment he was met by reporters who suddenly were asking Mr. Perkins the same questions Mr. DePetro has been asking consistently during the past three months! The Lester family is most grateful for the work he is doing or recognize the good investigative reporting conducted by Mr. DePetro.
Too bad the ultra-reactionary liberals who spend much time flooding the comments sections in response to every news post on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram do not share the sentiments of the suffering Lester family.
_____
Charlotte Lester is a Rhode Island woman who has been missing since May. She was last seen in the Warwick section of Apponaug. She told a friend she was going to see her friend Mark Perkins at 29 Staples Avenue which is not far from the last time she was seen.
Local radio host John DePetro put together the following timeline that details some of the important events involving this case. . .
-Monday May 16, 10:PM- Charlotte Lester last seen in Warwick section of Apponaug near the Crow’s Nest. She told a friend she was heading to her friends Mark’s home at 29 Staples Avenue up the street.
-Tuesday May 17, Friends of Lester notice they did not hear from her.
-May 18, Choloe the black dog of Charlotte Lester was found in Belmont Park Warwick, off Elmwood Avenue.
-Thursday May 19, friends of Charlotte Lester report her missing to the Warwick Police.
-Friday May 20, Police question Mark, friend of Charlotte Lester, owner of at 29 Staples Avenue in Warwick.
-Saturday May 21, Warwick Police declare 29 Staples Avenue a crime scene, surround it with yellow police tape and begin 24/7 police security of the house and yard. Police notify the public of missing person Charlotte Lester.
-Monday May 23, the red truck belonging to Lester is found in the back parking lot of Kent Hospital.
Sunday May 29, Family and friends organize a search and discover valuable love notes in the back parking lot area surrounding Kent Hospital. The notes are written to Charlotte from Mark.
-Saturday June 4, Police remain at the house at 29 Staples Avenue.
A friend of Mark’s told the John DePetro Show that Mark claimed Charlotte had “fallen in with a bad crowd” and left that Monday night to party with a group of young men. None of Lester’s friend mentioned this, were aware of this new mystery group, or can recall anything to back this up. Lester remains a missing person and there have been no charges filed regarding her disappearance. How did her dog get to Elmwood Avenue? How did her truck get to Kent? Where is she? (Video: Where is Charlotte Lester? A timeline; https://depetro.com/2022/06/video-where-is-charlotte-lester-a-timeline/)
“Where is she?” That is a direct question that a prime suspect in the Charlotte Lester missing person’s case, Mark Perkins, refuses to answer. She said she was on her way to visit him at his home but he has avoided questions from the media, he has failed to participate in search parties and just this week he violently assaulted local radio personality John DePetro with his lawn mower, punched and kicked him several times, tried dragging DePetro to the running lawn mower to “kill” him, destroyed his recording equipment and destroyed his cell phone and stole it (it was retrieved later by police on a search warrant).
