Facts will “trump” the weaponization of our judicial system by a bunch of Marxist hacks (I hope):
1. Alvin Bragg’s case is built upon this legal fantasy of felony “falsifying business records” in 2016
However, it’s a misdemeanor, not a felony.
2. Local prosecutors can only charge under state law, not Fed.
3. The statuate of limitations for a misdemeanor is 2 years, for felony 5 years.
4. NDAs & cash payments are legal.
5. It would have to be proven that Trump himself falsified the records & that he understood the complex laws that were allegedly violated.
6. Michael Cohen is a convicted perjurer who, in 2018, wrote a letter indicating that Cohen made the payment without Trump’s knowledge. This evidence appears to have been concealed from the grand jury. ##
