Ireland's 8th Amendment and International Missing Children's Day

Overlooked during yesterday's vote on the 8th amendment referendum in Ireland is the fact that it was International Missing Children's Day. Think about that for awhile. A day that many people in Ireland voted in favor of destroying pre-born human beings was a day that the world recognized the tragedy of missing children.

Abortion is a significant cause of missing children in the world than any other cause. Generations are lost and older populations far outnumber younger populations by a wide margin. Birth rates and total fertility rates have plunged worldwide. As the Population Research Institute noted, "According to the U.S. Census Bureau, in each of the following 100 nations the current total fertility rates are now at or below the population replacement level-generally held to be 2.1 births per woman per completed reproductive lifetime." Abortion is a colossal failure every time it is tried. It never has a positive outcome. It kills a baby and wounds a mother. It is mortal sin and the work of Satan. God is the Author of life. He will judge the leaders and supporters of this diabolical sin which is an abominable crime and the ultimate form of child abuse.

May God have mercy on the world and bring hardened sinners to repentance.

Keep praying for conversions and keep the Faith!
